Removing a tree: Cobb County’s rules

Cobb County’s Site Plan Review section handles clearing and land-disturbance permits outside the cities. Its published pages do not address a single tree on an existing home lot, so ask before removing a healthy tree, and always for one in a stream or zoning buffer.
